Planning without reviewing means making the same plan every week and being surprised by the same result. A short review fixes that.
The five questions
- What went well? Name one thing, however small. It tells you what to repeat.
- What kept getting moved? A task that slides three days in a row is too big, unclear, or not actually a priority. Shrink it, clarify it or drop it.
- How did the routines go? Look at the week's check marks. Notice the days that broke the streak and what happened on them.
- Which area got neglected? Health, love or wealth. That area gets the first slot next week.
- What is one thing I will do differently? One change, not a new system.
Using the planner
Write your answers in the Reflection section. Use the arrow at the top to look back at last week's tasks and routines before you answer. Then set this week's priorities with your answers in front of you.
Keep it light
The review is not a performance report. Missed tasks are information, not failures. If you only have two minutes, answer question five.
